Toner: Recycled Cartridge & Assembled in Mexico

The Genuine replacement cartridge for my Canon MF350 laser printer was Made in China and cost $92. The Office Max version is a refurbished toner cartridge that was refilled and assembled in Mexico. The price was $20 cheaper.

I've used reconditioned toner before and it works just fine. Again, always look at labels and find out who you're endorsing.

I was at Office Max yesterday looking to buy a stapler when, much to my dismay, I noticed that all the staplers and staples in the store were made in China. That included the "USA" company Swingline, founded in NY in 1925 and now based out of Lincolnshire, IL. I thought Swingline products were Made in USA?!

Think about it. What is really stopping them from manufacturing their product cheaper when people are still purchasing their product? That is what this Blog is all about. Be aware of what you're buying and where it was made. Look at the labels and do a little research/shopping yourself.
